Wallem Maritime Training Centres in India
Mumbai
Wallem was one of the first shipping companies to establish a training centre in Mumbai, establishing the Centre in 1994.
In response to the increase in seafarers, the Wallem Maritime Training Centre in Mumbai was expanded and relocated to Crescent Towers.
The Mumbai Training Centre is one of the few in Mumbai which is equipped with state of the art simulators, both navigational as well as engineering.
Kolkata
Established in 1995 in Kolkata, Wallem’s training centre is the only facility of its type in the city. Offering 15 courses, the centre is well positioned for officers from Kolkata, Bihar, Orissa, Bangladesh, and Andamans to attend courses whilst on leave.
Chennai
The Wallem Maritime Training Centre in Chennai was established in 2006 and has grown to offer five courses to the local seafarers. The training is conducted in a classroom and on computers.
Chandigarh
The training centre at Chandigarh is conveniently located to meet the needs of Wallem officers from Northern India. Chandigarh lies almost in the middle of three states-Punjab, Haryana and Himachal, making the travelling time relatively very short.
Delhi
The Wallem Maritime Training Centre in Delhi is in the same building
as Wallem Shipmanagement (India) Delhi in the prime South Delhi business
area. WMTC Delhi is conveniently located for all officers living in
the National Capital Region (NCR).
